Famille Adamas

The SlipRidge™ Family: Built for Big Game. Made to Adapt.

SlipRidge™ is a hunting knife family designed around the work that begins after the shot. Fixed and folding formats, a dedicated gut hook, modular sheath integration, and interchangeable handle scales create an adaptable system for field dressing, skinning, and big-game processing. Hunters can choose the stability of a fixed blade hunting knife, the portability of a folding knife, or combine the tools into a compact processing setup built around the way they prefer to work in the field.

The Lineup: Built for Every Phase of the Harvest

Mix and match components or carry a unified combo to streamline your big game loadout:

• SlipRidge™ Fixed Blade: The anchor of the collection. Featuring a broad 3.8” MagnaCut® drop-point blade with a sweeping belly and high tip, this fixed blade provides excellent control in tight areas during quartering and processing. A deep finger choil and contoured pinch points support precise work around joints, bone, and connective tissue. Choose the 15650 in Stabilized Wood for a more traditional look with resistance to moisture and temperature changes, or the 15650-01 in Rust Orange G10 for added rigidity, durability, and easier visibility in the field. Its Boltaron® sheath also mounts the SlipRidge™ Hook directly for a compact carry setup.
• SlipRidge™ AXIS® Folder: Built for hunters who prefer the portability of a folding hunting knife, the 3.5” MagnaCut® modified clip-point blade combines precise tip control with enough belly for skinning and general processing. Full liners and removable handle scales help shield the pivot area from blood, fat, grit, and field debris, while making deeper cleaning easier after the hunt. Like the fixed blade, hunters can choose between the 15090 in Stabilized Wood, bringing the same traditional look as the fixed blade, or the 15090-01 in Rust Orange G10, built for added visibility, durability, and grip in wet or rough conditions.
• SlipRidge™ Hook & Combo: Designed to support both gutless and traditional gutting methods, the dedicated 440C stainless steel hook helps open and remove hide while reducing the need to use the primary blade for initial opening cuts. For a complete field setup, the SlipRidge™ Combo bundles the fixed blade and hook together: the 15650-COMBO in Stabilized Wood or the 15650-01-COMBO in Rust Orange G10. In both configurations, the hook and fixed blade share the same sheath system, so the choice comes down to which fixed-blade handle best matches the hunter’s preference.

What Sets the SlipRidge™ Family Apart

SlipRidge™ is built around the realities of processing game in the field, where control, cleanability, and adaptability matter. On the Folder, full liners and removable handle scales help shield the pivot area from blood, fat, grit, and other debris while making deeper cleaning easier afterward.

Across the knife lineup, MagnaCut® provides a strong balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance, while SelectEdge® supports efficient, controlled cutting through hide, muscle, and connective tissue. Deep finger choils and contoured pinch points add control around joints, bone, and tighter areas.

Swappable scale sets in Black Canvas Micarta, Carbon Fiber, Rust Orange G10, OD Green G10, and Dark Stabilized Wood let hunters adapt grip, material, carry setup, and style without changing the core platform. Every SlipRidge™ knife is backed by Benchmade’s lifetime warranty and LifeSharp service.
